A life well lived is a life well celebrated.

For the past 25 years, Neil Sanderson has been a constant for our league and the community. He was a true believer in our program and everything recreation softball brings to girls in the state of Utah. The ballfield was one of his favorite places to be - it will not be the same without him.

Neil was serving as our 8U VP this season, but has served in nearly every role possible during his time with West Valley Fastpitch. We would not be where we are without the work, dedication and time he has given to us. We are truly grateful for all we have and all we are because of him.

We wish to extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to the Sanderson family. Neil was the best of men and we were so blessed to have been a part of his life for the last 25 years.

We invite our softball family and the community to join us throughout the remainder of the year as we honor and celebrate Neil Sanderson.

Rest in Peace Neil. We'll do our best to take care of the legacy you helped to build.
