Neil Sanderson Sportsmanship Award
Neil Sanderson was a voice of reason and a constant for our league for 25 years. Neil was a true believer in our program. He brought so much joy, kindness, knowledge, and dedication to our program. We are truly grateful for Neil and everything he did for our league and for youth sports.
The WVFP Board of Directors created the Neil Sanderson Sportsmanship Award to honor Neil. At closing ceremonies we announced our 18 recipients of the award. Each player was nominated by the coaches. These players showed kindness on and off the field, heart, and dedication to the game of softball. We could not be more proud of them.
Congratulations to those who received the Neil Sanderson Sportsmanship Award!
